Chapel Allerton Village Folk Roots Fringe

An abbreviated version of the Chapel Allerton Village Folk Roots Fringe returns for 2021 after missing 2020 due to the Covid-19 lockdown.

Alan Gibson is back again in the programming seat. During the lockdown year Gibson kept himself busy setting up the popular iGigs Online facebook page to provide a platform to enable music lovers to watch live streamed music concerts in their homes featuring independent label artists from both the UK and America. This provided an alternative for Gibson's cancelled local venue based promotions including the popular Acoustic Nights @ The Barn.

For 2021 the Folk Roots Fringe is reduced to the Seven Arts headline concert on Fri 3rd Sept featuring Monkey Business With support act Daddy Abe https://youtu.be/z5KGH9Vlk-4. Limited ticket availability due to Covid-19 from: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/sevenleeds/chapel-allerton-arts-festival-monkey-business/e-kvlqzg. Table service for drinks. Please respect the Seven Arts table/chair layout designed for social distancing. Limited venue capacity.

It is recommended to buy tickets asap to hear the former guitarist and percussionist with Ian Brown and The Stone Roses celebrate Ian Brown's Unfinished Monkey Business album.

The notable community Village Café Run will also return and take place on the Sat 4th Sept afternoon. More details re the Cafe Run to follow.
