Folk Roots Fringe 2022

Chapel Allerton Village Folk Roots Fringe returns to its full schedule for 2022 after no programme in 2020 and reduce billings in 2021 due to Covid-19.

During the lockdown year the festival’s regular programmer Alan Gibson kept himself busy setting up the popular iGigs Online facebook page. The page provided a platform to enable music lovers to watch live streamed music concerts in their homes featuring independent label artists from both the UK and America.

Gibson is now back promoting the popular monthly slot at the Acoustic Nights @ The Barn and planning for more great music at the Chapel Allerton Arts Festival folk roots fringe.

The 2022 Folk Roots Fringe brings another top artist to the Seven Arts headline concert on Thursday 1st Sept. The festival will be hosting Leah McFall quoted as “so freakin’ good. Her voice is phenomenal” and famous as a finalist in The Voice BBC hit programme. Leah has toured with Will.iam and Jessie J. and released a slew of hits, including a top 10 UK single. The support artist will be Astraluna who co wrote and toured the world with Corinne Bailey Rae. Going to be a top sell out concert! Don’t delay get your tickets asap at: http://www.sevenleeds.co.uk/event/chapel-allerton-arts-festival-leah-mcfall
