Potternewton Park Rollers

Potternewton Park Roller’s specialise in curating unique roller skate events for the community. Founded just under 2 years ago in Potternewton Park, Chapeltown, we run family skates, adult only sessions, roller discos and private events. The committee have a background in dance and are musically minded, which gives us a different approach to roller dance, and enables us to choreograph performances, like what you’ll see at The Chapel Allerton Arts Festival.

We will resume regular sessions from the end of September., which are sound tracked to a soul, RnB and funk playlist, with skate games for everyone to get involved with.

Potternewton Park Rollers are performing as part of The Arts Showcase showcasing talent from across the Chapel Allerton and Chapeltown ward. This is part of My LEEDS Summer, a series of celebrations taking place across the city from June to August, part of Leeds 2023. This event wouldn’t have been possible without Neighbourhood Host Gemma Lake.
