Denmarc Creary

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, residing in Leeds, UK, Denmarc Creary is an Artist & Songwriter who has shared stages with the likes of; Stormzy, Krept & Konan, Denzel Curry, Lady Leshurr, De La Soul & Little Simz to name a few. Denmarc has been called on to represent himself and his city for some of the cities key events over the years, most notably ‘1Xtra Live’ at First Direct Arena (12,000+ people) & ‘The Awakening’ at Headingley Stadium earlier this year (10,000+ people). When not on stage Denmarc is an editor for the Production Company Sodium Films – telling other peoples stories through visual media and working on global campaigns with companies like Adidas (multiple campaigns), Maison Margiela (Paris Fashion Week 2022) & Rhodes (Missing Keys ft. James Smith [Yard Act]).

Denmarc will be performing as part of The Arts Showcase showcasing talent from across the Chapel Allerton and Chapeltown ward. This is part of My LEEDS Summer, a series of celebrations taking place across the city from June to August, part of Leeds 2023. This event wouldn’t have been possible without Neighbourhood Host Gemma Lake.
